Add to the long list of good reasons to recycle cardboard: bikes. Full-size, perfectly street-legal, completely inexpensive bikes. Made almost entirely out of cardboard.
This article describes an Israeli inventor’s unique bicycle design, and his vision to mass produce these for the benefit of the entire world. Mass production of bicycles built from cardboard instead of steel or plastics can bring travel opportunities to places that didn’t have them before, and can enable would-be bicyclists in just about any city who didn’t think they could afford a decent bike.
And the best part? It’s cardboard – imagine the custom print job potential!
